Hello new friends! I am Alex. I was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in a big, noisy, and incredibly warm Colombian family. Growing up I was surrounded by music, food, laughter and hard work. My parents came to this country with little more than a dream. Together, they built a successful construction company and began to invest in real estate. With small business owners as parents, life was not always rainbows and sunshine…but it was exciting! I was profoundly inspired and I knew one day I would want to run a business of my own.

I eventually made my way from the City of Angels to the East Coast and I fell in love. The seasons, the architecture, THE BRICK BUILDINGS… oh my! My childhood dream of living in “Stars Hallow” had finally come true (if you know you know). At the age of 25 I bought my first house. It was a brick (of course) rancher from the 1950’s that was rough around the edges and needed a lot of love. I knew nothing about real estate going into this process, but I had an agent that guided and educated me so well. She became my second inspiration. A few months after closing on this house I was getting my real estate license and joining her team.

Fast forward a couple years and I found myself pregnant with my son Eddie and moving to the DMV. During this time I got to experience being a landlord, buying and selling property simultaneously , and getting to know this amazing area I now feel privileged to call home. This career has been the most rewarding job of my life (second only to motherhood) and I pinch myself every day that I get to teach people how to invest their money, be smart buyers and sellers, and grow their wealth in a place where their family can grow too. My clients are my family. I love them deeply, guide them gently, and protect them fiercely. I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you too to the Rise & Bloom family. Cheers!
